An experienced wildlife conservation professional who has worked across Southern Africa over the last 25 years.
During this time, he has worked in protected area management, conservation training, and projects addressing the illegal wildlife trade. He completed a Master’s degree in Nature Conservation, specialising in buffalo ecology in Kruger National Park. Craig’s experience includes management positions with African Parks in Liuwa Plains National Park in Zambia and at Majete Wildlife Reserve in Malawi which are remarkable examples of the restoration and transformation of these protected areas. More recently, Craig worked with WWF on projects addressing illegal wildlife trafficking in southern Africa, with a specific interest on ranger support and well-being. His passion lies in managing conservation landscapes that provide enduring benefits to the people whose livelihoods and well-being depend on these critical natural resources.
