Johana holds a Master of Science in Water and Environmental Management, a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences and Diplomas in project management and water technology. Johana focuses on rural development, water resource management, rural water systems, and disaster risk reduction, working in challenging environments, particularly in Kenya’s arid and semi-arid regions. Johana excels in managing water infrastructure, with skills in AutoCAD, data management, and hydrological analysis. He is a member of the Hydrological Society of Kenya and the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management. Johana is passionate about making a difference to the lives of rural communities living in some of the most arid and marginalised parts of Kenya and as a resident of Suguta Valley he is a great asset to the Rift Valley Conservation team.
