We encourage anyone who witnesses or suspects wrongdoing connected to Conserve Global’s work to raise their concern so that we can take appropriate action.
What You Can Raise a Concern About
You should raise a concern if you witness or suspect any behaviour that is unethical, unsafe or unlawful. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Fraud, bribery or corruption
- Theft or misuse of organisational assets
- Safeguarding concerns, including behaviour that places community members or staff at risk
- Harassment, bullying or intimidation
- Discrimination
- Sexual harassment, sexual exploitation or abuse
- Serious breaches of Conserve Global policies or codes of conduct
- Conflicts of interest or abuse of authority
- Deliberate concealment of wrongdoing.
If you are unsure whether something should be reported, we still encourage you to raise it.
What Happens When You Raise a Concern
When you raise a concern, it will be handled as quickly as possible and in accordance with Conserve Global’s Whistleblowing Policy, Code of Conduct, and related Safeguarding and Anti-Corruption Fraud and Bribery policies.
After your concern is received:
- It will be reviewed by an appropriate senior person
- We may contact you for more information
- An assessment or full investigation will be carried out as required
- We will provide feedback where appropriate, taking into account confidentiality and legal constraints.
We are committed to ensuring that anyone who raises a concern can do so safely. Conserve Global protects whistleblowers from retaliation or disadvantage, and we will take immediate action if such behaviour occurs. Concerns are handled confidentially and may be raised anonymously.
Whistleblowers play a role in helping us strengthen our organisation, uphold our values, and remain accountable to our partners, donors and the communities we work with.

If you feel unable or uncomfortable raising your concern internally, you may use Conserve Global’s independent, free-to-use whistleblowing service operated by Safecall.

All reports received through Safecall are sent directly and securely to Conserve Global’s Chair of the Board of Trustees and managed under our Whistleblowing Policy.
